Daniel Schwartz is an American businessman and is the Chief Executive Officer of Restaurant Brands International Inc., the parent company of Burger King and Tim Hortons. He previously served as the CEO of Burger King Corporation and prior to that, as Chief Financial Officer.
Schwartz is also a partner of the global investment firm 3G Capital, where he started as an analyst in 2005. Once 3G acquired Burger King Corporation in 2010, he became Burger King Corporation’s Deputy CFO and shortly thereafter, its CFO.
In August 2014, Restaurant Brands International Inc. (RBI) was created after the acquisition of the Tim Hortons brand and Schwartz was appointed Chief Executive Officer in December of that year.
Schwartz holds a BSc in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.
