Sareena Sandhu and were victorious at WWE Superstar Spectacle on Tuesday morning, but it turns out that “The Queen” was supposed to have another partner on the show.
According to PWInsider.com, Kavita Devi was originally scheduled to team with Charlotte on the show. WWE played a video featuring Devi, the first-ever Indian-born female WWE Superstar, and said she had gone back to India to deal with a family emergency. As it turns out, the reason for her absence was legitimate and Sandhu was added into the tag match as her replacement.
Sandhu ended up benefitting from the switch, as she scored the deciding pinfall on Natalya. The final moments of the match saw Natalya apply the Sharpshooter to Sandhu, but Flair broke it up with Natural Selection and Sandhu covered Natalya to pick up the win.
